2020 Camp Cancellation
It is with great sadness that we have to announce that our 2020 camp programs have been cancelled.
With Ontario's state of emergency extended until June 9, and having no information on what requirements will need to be met if camps are allowed to open this summer, we are not confident that we can deliver the fun and hands on science program that we have advertised, while providing the children in our care, our staff and partners the safe environment necessary during these times.

All About Our Camps!
Designed for kids Grade K-6
Combination of science discovery, outdoor games, and physical activity
New topics and activities every day
Full-day and half-day options available
Can I sign my child up for more than one camp?
Yes, in fact, we encourage it. Each topic is completely different, so your child can enjoy them all without repeating activities!+
Who are the Mad Science camp instructors?
Mad Science instructors tend to be college students pursing an education or science degree, former/retired teachers, or teachers on summer break. All of our instructors have experience working with large groups of elementary-aged children and have undergone an extensive background check.+
What is the child to instructor ratio?
The child to instructor ratio varies depending on enrollment. We always have at least one instructor for every 12 students.+
What should I send with my child to camp?
Even at a science camp kids need active play and sunshine! Sunscreen, closed-toed shoes and a hat are recommended. Pack a water bottle and a peanut free lunch & snack each day of camp. Please don't send electronics. Most important - an enthusiasm to discover and explore!+
Do you provide before and aftercare?
Yes! Regular camp hours are 9:00 - 4:00. Included in the fee, you may drop your child(ren) off as early as 8:30 and pick up as late as 4:30. Upon registration, you will have the option of additional care from 8:00 - 5:00 for $20 per week.+
Do you offer a discount for families with multiple children?
Yes. Child 1 and 2 will be charged at the regular rate. Child 3 will receive a 20% discount.+
Here's what parents have to say about our camps!
I like that my son came home with take home science experiments every day! He was able to tell me about what he learned and show me! He was enthusiastic about it, and excited to go every day! The staff were super engaging and friendly, accommodating and I felt safe knowing my child was with them and learning science!
Both of our boys did Mad Science summer camps when they were younger, and loved the experience! It was a very fun and interactive experience for them. And counselor Beth Morrell is the best!!!
My son attended the Earth, Space & Beyond Mad Science Camp last summer and absolutely loved it! The hours were convenient for our family, and the location was close by for us. We're sending him again to a Mad Science camp this upcoming summer. These are well run camps, in our experience, and I recommend them for people looking for a fun, science-based camp experience.
